Action on local litter

Across Chelmer Village and Beaulieu Park, residents tell us how important it is that our area is well looked after. From our green spaces to our business parks, we know how large an impact litter and fly-tipping can make.

An action plan is being implemented after Environmental Quality surveys of our local business parks revealed they are among the worst locations for litter in the district.

In January the Love Your Chelmsford team supported volunteers from Global Marine in tidying up Springfield Business Park, while Cllrs Steve Hall and Rose Moore got stuck into some challenging areas of Dukes Park and also reported a large fly tip in Grafton Place which has been cleared.

If your workplace is in the Chelmsford district and you’d like support with some clean-up action, please get in touch with your Lib Dem councillors or visit the Love Your Chelmsford website. The team will provide pickers, PPE and bags, and remove the waste afterwards.

Together we can keep Chelmsford clean for all!
