Problems at the Willow's Reach development
Liberal Democrats campaigned against the Willows Reach Development - Heybridge didn't need another soulless housing estate with no additional infrastructure or community facilities. Permission was however granted on appeal. Over the last few months we've been contacted by so many local residents in Heybridge whose houses are being covered in dust from the development, who are being disturbed by building noise at anti-social hours, and who are finding workers on site parking dangerously on nearby roads.
Council Officers have visited the site, but we believe far stricter conditions should have been imposed on the developer from the start. Local residents should not suffer at the hands of developers trying to maximise their profits.
