Nothing matters more to me than our NHS. It’s my top priority.
I’ve seen first-hand the incredible work staff do at Broomfield Hospital. I’ve spoken to hardworking GPs that provide front line support. I know our doctors and nurses provide amazing care on a daily basis. But I also know how difficult it can be to get access to medical help when you need it.
My inbox is full of emails from people who have been referred to a specialist at Broomfield Hospital only to have to wait months for an appointment, and then even longer for tests and treatment. Too many people tell me about the lack of NHS dental services, with terrible stories of being left in excruciating pain because they can’t get an appointment with a dentist. It’s heartbreaking.
Our health services are at breaking point.
