Try out tennis in holidays - arranged by Chelmsford LD Cllr Lee Ashley

Tennis try-out sessions have been arranged for the summer holidays in Melbourne Park by local Lib Dem councillor Lee Ashley, starting this Sunday and then on Thursdays.

Cllr. Ashley is a keen tennis fan and wanted youngsters to be able to try it. So she arranged a meeting with the Lawn Tennis Association, Active Essex and the City Council's Sports team to set it up. The dates are:-

Sunday 2nd August 10.30am to 12.30pm - as part of the Great British Tennis weekend

Tuesdays & Thursdays in August - 2.30pm - 4.30pm

It is for Ages 6-14. Just turn up at the Sports Centre off Salerno Way, Melbourne and pay just £1 per session.
