Chelmsford residents can find out more about recycling on Saturday

Chelmsford residents are invited to an Open Day at the council's recycling depot, to see what happens to the 25,000 tonnes of materials that is recycled each year. Freighter House will be holding this year's Recycling Open Day on Saturday 25th June from 10.00am - 2.00pm. It is near the Boreham interchange services, at Drovers Way, Boreham, CM2 5PH.

There will be lots for visitors to see & do…

  • Find out what happens to your recycling and rubbish
  • Have a look at the machinery and vehicles that are used
  • Meet some of the staff
  • Ask us questions about your service
  • Have the chance to enter competitions
